Palette and Pasture Somerset Gelato

Palette and Pasture Somerset Gelato, based on a farm near Frome, is a brilliant place to stop off on a weekend to tuck into some tasty ice cream in the sunshine.

They are only open on the weekend, but are well worth making the stop to taste some amazing gelatos such as Cream Egg, Moo-teaser or Plum Ripple! There’s ample parking and lots of lovely footpaths around the farm/local area for walks. On days when the cows are not in the field behind the ice cream parlour dogs are always welcome to have it to enjoy for themselves.

The owners of Palette and Pasture just love meeting and welcoming 4 legged friends. They are very dog friendly, and even have 2 dogs of their own – Mabel, a chocolate lab and Tuppence, a miniature daxi who just love making new friends.

It’s a great place for kids too, where they can meet the animals, feed the goats, play with the pedal tractors and enjoy delicious gelato and meet the new animal editions to the farm! They also serve hot and cold drinks, and light snacks.
