The Ashton

The Ashton is a real favourite of ours. It has so much to offer, is beautifully decorated and best of all, the views of Ashton Court are lush on a summer’s day.

The Ashton is a large pub that has a good sized car park, plentiful outdoor seating area and is very chilled. They serve a brilliant menu with lots of choices, from gastropub mains to a whole vegan menu and a great Sunday lunch menu as well. We can personally vouch for the fish and chips! They also have plenty to choose from on the drinks menu, offering a large range of cocktails, beers and lovely wine.

Dogs are allowed in the bar area, which is relaxed and chilled out, but beautifully decorated and atmospheric. With an eclectic mix of tables and chairs, the bar feels cosy and warm, you really could stay here for hours. Especially with the impressive fire pit in the middle of the room to warm you up on a cold day after a dog walk.

The staff are friendly, accommodating and happy to help out. We would definitely recommend.
