The Black Horse
The Black Horse is a 400 year old country pub perched on the edge of Minchinhampton Common, boasting some of the best views in the Cotswolds.
We stopped at the pub after a lovely bluebell walk at Cam Peak, but it’s also a great place to unwind after a walk at nearby Minchinhampton Common or Rodborough Common.
The garden at the back has stunning views, so if the sun is shining, we definitely recommend sitting there, although dogs are allowed inside and out. The food was delicious and can particularly recommend the deep fried halloumi starter and veggie burger!
The Black Horse is a great place to be, come wind, rain or shine, where children, dogs and muddy boots are all welcome!
