The Cauldron Restaurant
The Cauldron Restaurant is a totally one-off and unique restaurant, the kitchen doesn’t have a gas supply, instead, the chefs work on multiple fire pits, grills, a genuine wood fired oven and 2 huge cast iron cauldrons.
The award winning restaurant in St Werburgh’s, pride themselves sourcing local, ethical food, offering local beers such as Wiper & True, salad and herbs from nearby Purple Patch to speciality coffee from the Extract Coffee Roasters who are just around the corner. They are passionate about community and even source their furnishing from local suppliers.
The food has been raved about, from the Sunday Roasts cooked in the wood fired oven and over charcoal pits, to even the vegan and gluten free options. Marina O’Loughlin, food writer for The Guardian describes The Cauldron: ‘Mad: a bit. Delicious: absolutely’.
The Cauldron Restaurant has a chilled out vibe with a great atmosphere and are very accommodating to owners and their doggies.
