The George Pub in Abbots Leigh is a charming village pub known for its cozy atmosphere, traditional British fare, and warm welcome to furry friends, making it a delightfully dog-friendly establishment. With its low beamed ceilings, crackling fireplace, and friendly staff, it offers a welcoming retreat for locals and visitors alike.

This is one of our favourite pubs to stop in after a dog walk in many of the surrounding woodlands such as Abbots Pool, West Tanpit Wood, Paradise Bottom or Leigh Woods. We just love sitting in the walled beer garden with Bella and having a cider or proper ale. The garden is very popular with a little play area for the kids and lots of seating dotted about. They also have the Bike Shed cafe which is open 8am-4pm, serving coffee, cakes and sandwiches.

Dogs are allowed everywhere in the pub.
