The Globe Inn - Alvington

The Globe Inn in Alvington is a dog friendly pub with fantastic food, friendly service and a sunny garden.

We’ve driven by this pub countless times, but until we went in one day, I did not know what a gem it was! The menu was amazing, with homemade pasta, steaks cooked perfectly and a menu to cater for vegans as well. We visited for a large family meal and by the number of dogs and their owners, it’s obvious it’s a very popular pub.

Inside is warm and cosy with a contemporary, newly refurnished decor with oak beams, exposed brick walls and a log fire in the corner.

We cannot wait to go back and find a walk nearby just for an excuse to visit again!

The Globe Inn has disabled access, but it will be worth phoning ahead before as the back door for the access has tables near it, sometimes making it difficult to get out if busy.
