Hillgrove Porter Stores

Up the hill from Stokes Croft and the BRI, on the edge of Kingsdown, Hillgrove Porter Stores was Dawkins Ales’ second pub. It still retains a multi-roomed feel. Big seller of real ale and craft beer, every day is like a beer festival! Surprisingly, for an authentic boozer they serve delicious authentic Japanese dishes that are well worth a try and highly rated!

The interior is horseshoe-shaped, with a lounge area hidden behind the bar, and an external patio out to the side. Walls are adorned with beer pump badges, adding to the character of the place, so if you’re after a proper pub pint, then Hillgrove Porter Stores is the place for you and your pup!
