The Jockey Inn
The Jockey Inn is a beautifully renovated, award-winning country pub situated in the south Worcestershire countryside.
We visited for Sunday lunch after a dog walk at nearby National Trust Croome. The pub has two little car parks and a small patio area outside for sunny days. Inside is a tasteful mix of traditional decor with industrial features, providing a contemporary but comfortable setting. Old pictures of jockeys, racing photos and racing memorabilia are dotted around the walls.
Dogs are welcome in the bar area of the pub, but we didn’t see any bowls, so bring your own if needed. Our food was superb, with my sister highly praising the beef roast which looked divine. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we stayed longer than intended, but we didn’t feel rushed at all by the staff.
