The Langton

The Langton is a newly refurbished traditional pub in the heart of St Anne’s. It’s a welcome addition to the area and particularly brilliant to stop at after a great dog walk at Nightingale Valley, St Anne’s Wood or Netham Park.

Refurbished in 2019, The Langton’s menu is full of pub classics with a great choice of real ales, ciders on tap and a guest ale. They also have retained some great pub features like skittles, a pool table and a darts board.

As soon as we walked in with Bella, we were greeted by very friendly staff and told we could sit anywhere with her. Bella was fussed and given a treat, it’s great to have such a warm welcome when you walk into a pub with your dog! The pub has a great vibe, with reggae music playing in the background, Wimbledon on TV and lots of locals that are clearly happy about having such a great new pub on their doorstep. We would highly recommend the food, we both ordered different fish from the menu and were blown away with how delicious the food was. We will definitely be back!

There’s a small garden out the back if you want to chill outside on warm days. If there are no water bowls out, please just ask for one behind the bar.
