The Old Lock & Weir Inn

Popular with dogs and their owners after a walk through the surrounding fields, the highlight of this pub is the seating area which has a superb view of the River Avon. The Old Lock & Weir Inn is a down to earth, characterful and traditional pub with friendly staff, where dogs are seen as a normal part of pub life.

Known more for its drink than its food, it serves traditional pub grub, such as Sunday Roasts, pizzas and cheesy chips (not necessarily in that order!) They do have a great selection of beers and ciders, especially the Thatchers Gold ‘slush’ – a very icy cider!

Dogs are very welcome here, the owners even have their own pups – Jasper and Marley to say hello to. They are used to muddy dogs and their walkers coming in for a pint out post-walk.
