The Rising Sun Pensford
The Rising Sun in Pensford is a popular pub with rave reviews, tucked away in pretty Pensford. Inside is cosy and traditional with a fire roaring in the center of the dining area.
This pub is the perfect partner to a dog walk around the Pensford Viaduct or Culvery Wood. After a long walk, you can snug up inside with a pint of Thatchers, or real ale and some great homecooked pub food. Or if it’s summer, chill out in the impressive garden area, which sits next to the River Chew. The views are probably some of the best in Bristol! The garden has lots of tables and a few different seating areas.
Make sure you book on Sunday’s for their fabulous roasts.
