The Royal Oak is a beautiful dog friendly pub on Bristol’s famous Gloucester Road, well known for its awesome beer garden.

They serve up great pub food classics such as beef, Guinness & stilton pie and burgers with chunky chips. The interior is a mix of traditional and modern with a log burner, comfy armchairs and big wooden tables. In the summer, sit outside in the spacious beer garden and enjoy some stone baked pizzas from their outside pizza oven. In July, they even host a pork and cider festival, what more could you want?

The Royal Oak is very dog friendly and has water bowls out for thirsty pooches, making it a great pairing after a run around at Horfield Common.

The pub is also very child friendly, making The Royal Oak a great all rounder with families. In the garden, they have a children’s play area with a climbing frame and slides. The play area doesn’t dominate the main areas of the pub so visitors without kids can also enjoy the experience!
