The Temple Inn

The Temple Inn is the perfect spot to rest and relax after a walk at Greyfield Wood.

The newly opened and refurbished pub is set in the heart of Temple Cloud. It’s charming inside with a mix of old and new features. Big wooden tables, mismatched chairs, exposed brick walls and industrial style lights give the classic pub a trendy style.

We could only sit in the bar area with Bella, which had a couple of tables, or we could sit outside in the garden which has a medium sized seating area. But we didn’t mind at all, the place is obviously popular in the village and it was fairly busy.

The staff who were really friendly and helpful presented us with a variety of menus, all the food sounded great and it was hard to choose! Bella was spoilt by one of the members of staff who popped over, gave her some fuss and dog treats from the bar. She was Bella’s best friend by the end of the night! The food was delicious and we would definitely recommend the fish and chips.

The staff were really welcoming and we would love to visit again.
