The White Lion
The White Lion is a dog friendly pub with one of the best views in Bristol. From the massive terrace area, you and your pup will have a superb view of Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
This place will be very busy on a hot day, where people love to socialise outside and soak up the rays whilst enjoying a pizza and a crisp pint. The downside of this is that you will usually have to queue a while for a drink, even when the outside bar is open.
On the terrace, there is plenty of space for your pup to chill beside you, and if the outside is busy, there are large tables inside (although sometimes the music is quite loud in an echoey space, so may not be the most chilled out choice for a drink).
Being a popular pub, The White Lion offers food all day, from HUGE pizzas to sarnies and burgers. The pizzas are 18″ so you will need to be hungry or prepared to share!
