Ashton Hill

Ashton Hill, also known as Belmont Hill, is located near Ashton Court Estate. It is not very well known, but that makes it all the better for exploring the 148 acres of mixed woodland with conifers, broadleaves and areas of ancient woodland as well as a magnificent stand of Californian Redwoods.

It is very easy to walk in a circular route around the woods, which will take you about an hour to explore, or you can cut across the woods to have a shorter walk and visit the ‘Big Tree Grove’, which houses impressive, towering Giant Sequoias planted in the 19th century.

An easy circular route around Ashton Hill will take approximately an hour.
