Bedminster Down Open Space

Bedminster Down Open Space is an area that I had often looked at on the bus back from the airport and tried to figure out what it was. Located next to Bridgewater Road (A38), there’s a slope that leads from the road onto a flat grassy area with a few trees. Surprising, the field was nicer than what I thought it might be and I saw a person walking a couple of dogs there.

Behind this field is another slope to a larger green open space, which is obviously used as a circular walk for dog walkers. It’s very quiet and sandwiched between the Bedminster Down allotment areas, so quite hidden from the road. It’s quite unkempt, but nevertheless, it would make a good space for a dog walk if you live close by. There are also patches of woodland areas.
