Frenchay Common

Frenchay Common is a small flat green area nestled in the centre of Frenchay. The common feels like it’s in the middle of a village, but it’s actually in a suburb of Bristol.

Frenchay Common is surrounded by houses, a picturesque church and a local pub (sadly not dog friendly). The streets are very quiet and the only noise to be heard when we arrived was the ringing of the church bells that echoed across the common and nearby Frenchay Moor.

We walked around the perimeter of the common, exploring into the corners of the green before venturing a minutes walk away to Frenchay Moor, which is a perfect extension to this little walk.
