Kilkenny Fields

Kilkenny Fields and the old Portishead Golf Course which sits next to it are wide open spaces with stunning views across the Bristol Channel. Very popular with dog walkers, there’s lots of space for you and your dog to mooch around. It’s a particularly beautiful spot to visit at sunset.

It’s also very conveniently close to The Windmill Inn – a great dog friendly pub which has terraced seating so you can make the most of the view whilst tucking into some delicious food!

Want a longer walk? Kilkenny Fields is also located near some fab walks in Portishead – the Lake Grounds, Battery Point, Portbury Wharf Nature Reserve and even a coastal walk from lighthouse to lighthouse.
