Marksbury Road Open Space
An open green space in busy Bedminster. Marksbury Road Open Space is a small park, but with room enough for a multi-use-games-area, children’s play area and bike path. The Malago stream runs through the length of the park.
There are a group of volunteers – Malago Greenway that works hard to keep this space as pleasant as possible.
A great way to extend this walk is to explore south Bristol’s nearby green spaces – if you follow the path to cross over Marksbury Road, you will be in another green space – Brixham Road Open Space, which has an exciting community project in – The Malago Greenway Berry Maze.
Both spaces are good areas for a short walk or just throwing a ball around.
Extend this walk even further and walk up to Northern Slopes for a brilliant view of Bristol.
