Pomphrey Hill Playing Fields

Pomphrey Hill Playing Fields is ideal for dog walks. With a nice enclosed dog walking area, this large space has several playing fields with a woodland and large duck pond.

Park for free in the car park located right next to Pomphrey Hill Playing Fields. From here, you will see the Pavillion and large fields (perfect for throwing the ball around or for some dog play time). The area is particularly well known for it’s Park Run’s that occurs every Saturday morning at 9am, filling the 5km route within the area with enthusiastic runners. Dogs always welcome to run alongside their owners. The Park Run has a great atmosphere, with lovely people where bacon baps, tea and coffee are on sale.
