Somerset Lavender Farm

Somerset Lavender Farm, near Radstock is a stunning place to visit, with rows upon rows of purple lavender to walk around with your dog.

The farm is signposted, so we found it quite easy to find, there’s a medium-sized car park and they have lots of boxes for voluntary contributions for your visit. There are two main fields to wander around, a lavender garden which showcases different types of lavender as well as another garden area which is adorned with bright sweetpeas, colourful dahlias and other flowers.

Somerset Lavender Farm has a great little cafe, shop, nursery and lots of outdoor seating, there’s only one dog bowl though, so maybe bring your own, the staff are happy to fill them up for you. It gets very popular in summer, we went in mid-July when the lavender fields were in full show and looked insanely beautiful. We would highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back again next year! It’s also very close to Ammerdown Wood if you wanted to go for a dog walk beforehand.
